Gardening

This was my garden bounty last year.

"Carrots". (If you say this out loud, you have to give the word air quotes. It's really the only way to convey this sorry reality).

Okay, I did manage to get some good herbs going before I killed them all off. Oops.

This year I'm turning a new gardening leaf (no pun intended).

In goes tomatoes, basil, carrots, mint, parsley and strawberries.

Keep your fingers crossed for me.

  1. I love the picture of your carrotts. I am now growing 122 tomato plants inside right now plus other veggies. Cant wait to put them outdoors. Lots of time this year outside pulling weeds.

  2. I think I just died laughing at your carrots.

But kudos to you for trying. And at least they are recognizable as potential carrots! I once had a plant literally jump out of it's pot to its death because I am such a poor caretaker.

I have high hopes for your garden.

  3. They look like all the carrots I've ever tried to grow. I think you need to be a professional carrot grower to make them look like the ones in the store....
