There is a young man who I would like to thank.

I don't know his name. And I have never talked to him.

He is maybe twenty-ish.

Hipster jeans, slim and tall, with hopeful eyes.

He stands on the corner of 56th and Bell around dusk, and he holds up a sign.

A white posterboard.

On it, drawn simply in scrawling black letters, the most exciting word in the English language:

imagine

And when I see this sign, I am, without fail, inspired.
